 The 2008 season came to a close as The Huntsville Quarter Midget Association held their annual Awards Banquet at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Despite this being Halie's first full year racing she brought home the Heavy Honda & Heavy 160 Track Championships along with setting a Track Record qualifying lap in the Heavy 160 division. Halie is looking forward to the 2009 racing season and competing for a National Championship at the Eastern Grands to be held at the HQMA facility in Huntsville, Alabama July 18th - 25th. |

 Halie takes 1st and 3rd at HQMA's 40th annual Turkey Gobbler. In Friday's qualifying Halie rolled out and set fast time in the Heavy Honda car. Saturday she backed up the fast time by picking up a win.
